The Office of Student Scholarship and Fellowship Advisement (OSSFA) provides UCF students and alumni with information and advising for major national and international fellowships and scholarships. We serve as the campus representative for all scholarships requiring university endorsement or nomination, including the Rhodes, Marshall, Truman, and Goldwater. Prestigious scholarships and fellowships aim to support those who will become leaders in their disciplines, communities, or careers. In addition to the national acclaim that is accorded to the recipients, the monetary awards associated with these scholarships can cover the costs associated with graduate training at the very best graduate programs in the United States or abroad. Because competition for prestigious scholarships is fierce and preparation is both intensive and extensive, the preparation for competitive applicants can begin as early as freshman year. OSSFA works closely with students who foresee a scholarship in their future, guiding them and charting their progress long before the semester of application.
